WHAT WE DO
Professional Light Demolition for Residential and Commercial Projects
Demolition is where most construction projects begin — and how that work gets done sets the tone for everything that follows. Forge Concrete & Demolition provides light demolition services for builders, general contractors, and homeowners across the San Antonio area and Texas Hill Country. We work safely, clean up after ourselves, and stay out of the way of your other trades.
We primarily serve as a demolition subcontractor for builders and GCs who need a dependable crew to clear the way before the next phase of a project begins. We understand job site schedules, coordinate with project managers, and handle the scope we’re given without adding to your overhead.
Homeowners and property managers can hire us directly for residential demolition projects — partial teardowns, concrete removal, interior demo before a remodel, and more. If something needs to come down on your property, Forge can handle it.
LIGHT DEMOLITION SERVICES
What Forge Handles
Our light demolition services cover the most common residential and commercial demolition scopes across the San Antonio area. If your project isn’t listed below, contact us — we’re happy to discuss scope.

Concrete Demolition & Removal
Breaking and removing existing concrete slabs, driveways, walkways, patios, and flatwork. We break, haul, and leave the site clean and ready for new work. Concrete demolition is one of our most common scopes, and we handle it efficiently whether it's a small residential slab or a larger commercial pour.

Interior Finish Demolition
Removal of interior finishes including flooring, drywall, fixtures, cabinetry, and ceiling material in preparation for remodels, renovations, or new builds. We work cleanly inside existing structures, protecting what stays while removing what goes — and we clear the debris before we leave.

Small Structure Teardowns
Teardown and removal of small structures including sheds, detached garages, covered patios, pergolas, fences, and outbuildings. If a structure on your property needs to come down before construction begins or a site is cleared, Forge can handle the teardown and haul-off cleanly and efficiently.

Retaining Wall & Masonry Removal
Removal of existing retaining walls, block walls, and masonry structures that need to come down before new construction or landscaping begins. We break and haul masonry efficiently and leave the area ready for whatever is going in next — whether that's a new wall, a grade change, or fresh concrete.

Selective Demolition
Partial demolition scopes that require careful removal of specific elements while leaving surrounding structures intact. Selective demo is common in remodels and renovations where precision matters. We work from your plans or discuss scope directly so we remove exactly what needs to go — nothing more.

Demolition Debris Removal
Haul-off and disposal of demolition debris from residential and commercial job sites. Whether we performed the demolition or another crew did, Forge can handle debris removal and site clean-up so your project can move forward. We leave the site clear and ready for the next phase of work.
WHY FORGE?
A Demolition Expert San Antonio Builders and Homeowners Can Rely On
Good demolition work is more than swinging a hammer. It requires planning, coordination with other trades, awareness of what’s around the work zone, and a crew that cleans up after itself. Forge brings all of that to every demolition scope we take on — whether it’s a commercial subcontract or a residential teardown.
Our founder Jon has over a decade of construction experience across large firms, independent projects, and his own remodeling business. He’s been on both sides of a demolition scope — as the GC managing it and as the crew doing it. That perspective drives how Forge operates on every job.
Safe Job Sites
We follow established safety practices on every demolition job, coordinate with other trades on active sites, and communicate with project managers throughout the scope. Builders and GCs can count on us to work within the flow of a larger project without creating problems.
Clean Workspace
We don't leave a mess behind. Debris removal and site clean-up are part of how we work — not an afterthought. When Forge finishes a demolition scope, the site is clear and ready for the next crew or the next phase.
Locally Focused
We're based in the San Antonio area and focused on the communities where our clients build and live. We know the terrain, the neighborhoods, and the job sites across the Hill Country and San Antonio metro — and we're invested in the work we do here.

Forge carries the appropriate general liability insurance for demolition work in Texas. We can provide documentation to general contractors and builders before any project begins.

Light Demolition FAQs
What is considered light demolition?
Light demolition refers to the removal of smaller structures, interior finishes, or specific concrete and masonry elements — as opposed to full structural demolition of large buildings. Common light demolition scopes include breaking and removing concrete slabs, tearing out interior finishes like flooring and drywall, and taking down small structures such as sheds, fences, and covered patios. Forge specializes in light demolition for residential and commercial projects throughout the San Antonio area.
Do you remove the debris after demolition?
Yes. Debris removal and haul-off are a standard part of how Forge operates on demolition scopes. We don't leave a job site with a pile of material for someone else to deal with. When we finish a demolition job, the site is cleared and ready for the next phase of work. If you need debris removal only — without demolition — we can discuss that as a standalone scope as well.
Can you perform demolition inside an occupied or active structure?
Yes, in many cases. Interior finish demolition is commonly performed inside existing structures that will remain standing — homes undergoing remodels, commercial spaces being renovated, and similar projects. We work carefully to protect surrounding structures and finishes, and we coordinate with homeowners and project managers to minimize disruption. Each scope is different, so contact us to discuss the specifics of your project.
What types of demolition does Forge not handle?
Forge specializes in light demolition and does not perform large-scale structural demolition requiring heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes. We also do not perform demolition that involves hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead paint abatement — those scopes require licensed environmental contractors. If your project involves either of these, we're happy to point you in the right direction while handling the light demolition portion that falls within our scope.
How do I get a quote for a demolition project in San Antonio?
The easiest way is to reach out through our contact page or give us a call. Describe what needs to come down, where the project is located, and your timeline — and we'll follow up to discuss scope and provide pricing. For general contractors managing a build schedule, we recommend reaching out early so we can get on your timeline before demo day arrives.
